The partnership with Loop has resulted in an impressive claim settlement process for RDC Concrete. 81% of claims are cashless and settled within 7 to 8 days and the remaining 19% are reimbursed within 20 days - all without any rejections. It’s one of the highest cashless settlement rates among companies!
In addition to this, Loop also offers a claims advisor service. It is currently available in Pune and Mumbai, and will soon be launched in Bangalore. Here, a Loop representative visits the hospital to assist the employee with all necessary documentation and expedite the discharge process. They also review the billing to ensure that there are no inappropriate charges and request revisions if necessary.
Rebecca, the one who manages the health benefits said, “Loop’s claims team is very responsive and solves any queries immediately. The process is so seamless that employees themselves can reach out to Loop and complete the claims process. I don’t need to intervene unless it’s a critical case.”

Another way RDC Concrete focuses on employee health and wellness is through the Loop app.
Over 600 RDC employees have already downloaded the app, indicating a high level of adoption. Moreover, there has been a significant utilization rate with 1064 employees chatting with the Medical Advisor (MA), 351 using the online doctor consultation service, and 41 of them booking discounted lab tests.
The most used services on the app are physicians, followed by dermatology, pediatrics, gynecology, nutrition, and orthopedics, among others.
The rating for these services has been excellent,
with a stellar score of 3.9/4!
Some employees told Dr. Bhoon about their experience with Loop doctor consultations. He told us in brief that, “Several employees enjoy the benefits of helping their parents in their healthcare journey with Loop. Besides employees, 3-4 other members can use the Loop app and their services. This helps employees care for their parents and loved ones from a distance too.” Such extensive reach and care, through the app and network of hospitals, aid RDC Concrete. It helps cater to their employee well-being and vision of having a factory present in every state and every union territory in India.
One of the primary reasons for such high app utilization and seamless cashless claims is how RDC Concrete helps spread awareness. While Loop’s responsive team is constantly giving the management and employees updates about health benefits, RDC Concrete does the same.
Through the Diksha Program, the management team regularly communicates with employees about healthcare. Besides this, the CEO and Dr. Bhoon are active on social media, which ensures the word is spread. Throughout COVID-19, with the help of the social media video content, they were able to keep their employees' spirits up.
In addition, they have an Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) program in place, where employees are briefed daily for 30 minutes about health, wellness, and safety. Further, the company offers 42 no questions asked leaves throughout the year to further demonstrate its employee-centric approach.
Being a young workforce in the construction industry, even in the hiring process, a lot of attention is given to health. This is due to the demanding nature of the job. It calls for a lot of physical work, and barely any time spent in front of the computer. Employees who join are passionate about what they do and align with the culture, and stick with the company. The numbers prove this, where internal promotions within the company stand at 80%!

Dr. Bhoon said that, “One of the good things about Loop is they voluntarily provide me with a lot of data, which other companies don’t do. Through the data I can conclude about the companies health expenditure, claims ratio, app utilization, cost savings, and many more things.”
