I know: if the price seems too low, there's a reason.... The Maxell CR2032 batteries I was sent (15 of them) are stamped "08" on the face of the battery itself (no dates on pkg.) I called Maxell USA customer service to inquire whether this number was actually an expiration date or some other code; was told that this batch was manufactured in 2003, and has a 5-year shelf life. The LED tealights I ordered in which to use these batteries have not yet arrived, so hopefully, when they come, I will get at least a little use out of these batteries. Seller is, of course, free to sell out-of-date merchandise, but it should be required by Amazon that this be disclosed in their product description. Further (but less of an issue for me,) the product description states: "A Cross-reference information guide is inclued [sic] in each order." This was not the case, at least in my order.
