This tool would have received a 4 or 5 stars if the click mechanism they have for signaling that you should stop pressing it worked better. I wouldn't buy this tool again, but if you are really paying attention you could get accurate results (more or less).

I never got the click sound it promised. I had to look down at the device to see when it was nudged in the little compartment...and using 1.6 in. of skin/fat and 1.7 in seemed to give different results, at least in the hip measuring area. This device just doesn't work well enough.

This tool does take a little time to figure out, but it's actually not that difficult. It is a good way to check your body fat in specific areas. Try not to pinch too hard. :)

The body fat tester looks exactly like the picture. I wish there were more instructions. It only came with instructions on a sheet of paper smaller than a 8.5" x 11." I went on youtube to find videos of how to use it to make sure I was using it right. If you don't mind doing that, then it's sufficient.

This caliper is fantastic. I love its price & the fact that I can now measure body fat.

Keep in mind: it measures body fat. It does not help you lose body fat.

When I bought this caliper, I somehow thought I found the missing link to my weight loss strategy, but I have not lost any body fat. Even if I lose pant sizes, my body fat stays the same. This caliper is depressing to me.
